Action Aid Nigeria (AAN) is one of ActionAid Country Programmes around the world ActionAid is an International Non-Governmental organization registered in The Netherlands and headquartered in Johannesburg South Africa. ActionAid International works in about 52 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia and the Americas. 22 of these country programmes, affiliates or associates are in Africa and are led by Africans. We have been doing development work on the continent since 1972 and in Nigeria since 1999 ActionAid works with the poor and excluded in Africa, promoting values and commitment in civil society, institutions and governments with the aim of achieving structural changes in order to eradicate injustices and poverty in the world.

To effectively remain proactive and consolidate on the new country strategy, AAN is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of Facility Manager.

Position: Facility Manager
Person Specifications
Education/Qualifications

v Degree in Social Sciences, Arts or Humanities is essential.
v Masters degree in a related field is essential.

Experience
v At least 7 years minimum working, experience is essential
v 3 years experience in a similar position is essential

Skill/Abilities
v Excellent skills in negotiation, communication and report writing is essential
v Ability to multi-task is essential

Personal Qualities
v Demonstrable commitment to supportive team working
v Creative and takes initiative.
v Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
v Willing to work additional hours at crucial times
