Rossi ready for Monza Rally Show drive

The MotoGP™ season may be over but the action continues for the riders, who keep themselves tuned and fit with an array of activities – many of them motorsport focused.

Rossi is a regular Monza RallyShow attendee and that’s where he will be this weekend, at the helm of a Ford Fiesta RS WRC looking to repeat his 2012 triumph.

The Doctor will be up against the likes of Citroën DS3 WRC drivers Capello and Sordo, with Piero Longui, Alessandro Perico and Tony Cairoli also present.

Commenting on the event Rossi stated, “It’s something we look forward to all year. The MotoGP™ season is over and this is something we always do. It’s competition, there is adrenaline, but at the same time it’s fun, because it’s like a game and there is less pressure. Last year went well (Rossi won for a third time) and this year the field is very strong. So we’ll be looking for a good result but mainly it’s about having fun.”
