We are looking for a talented and mature candidate for the position of Plant Manager. This is a challenging position suited only for an individual with an inquisitive and independent mind, high self-initiative and a strong motivation to succeed. This position is based at our production facility in Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia.
Plant Manager
Johor (Malaysia) - Pasir Gudang
Responsibilities:
To perform activities related to production, modification and maintenance of equipment and machinery in oleochemical industrial plants.
Monitor any new project development and modification
Maintain standards and policies as per engineering principles and safety regulations at all times: pollution control; installation or modification; quality control; testing; operating procedure; inspection and maintenance of equipment and machinery
Run systems to maximize the production yield, capacity utilization and production volume of the plants and to ensure that all products meet required specifications and standards
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensure that personnel is familiar with the standard and policies
Report, monitor and analyze equipment performance and reliability in order to ensure production targets are met at all times and minimize plant down time
Responsible for minimizing wastage from all plant
Ensure all safety and environmental considerations are made when carrying out production, modification and maintenance of equipment and machinery in industrial plants
Trouble-shoot and resolve problems in the industrial plants
Any other duties as given by the company management
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in oleo chemicals, oil refinery and petrochemicals plant. Added advantage for candidate with experience in the production of surfactant products
Must be results oriented &able to work independently, self-motivated with effective planning skills
Strong interpersonal & communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia proficiently
