Responsibilities:

Sell-side credit research analyst to cover Asian Investment Grade and High Yield credits, based in Singapore.

Analyse industries, companies, financials and associated documentation to determine the credit worthiness of firms and securities.

Build and maintain comprehensive fundamental valuation models, attend meetings and conference calls with company management, and complete related investigation to support assumptions, underlying analysis and investment recommendations.

Produce and communicate timely trading ideas, recommendations and investment research to sales force and external clients, and contribute to investment strategy.

Support sales force with daily inquiries, participate in road shows and liaise with the London office on investment coverage, production of research and investment strategy.

Requirements

Must have 5 years of experience as a credit analyst on the sell side, with a rating agency, major bank or securities house.

Strong knowledge of Asian credits, accounting, financial analysis and modelling. Preferably background covering Asian financials.

Degree in finance, economics, or mathematical discipline.

Strong analytical and communications skills (both writtena and spoken). Must be able to work independently.

Preference for CFA or CFA candidate at advanced stage.

• Activates and deactivates system devices such as printers, cartridge drives and magnetic tape drives.
• Performs daily recycling of production CICS application system and the tellers terminal on-line Manipulates master and alternate consoles of IBM MVS/ESA for system monitoring, shutdown and loading of application systems, interprets console messages from application programs and executes commands require for intervention.
• Operates Tandem computer, which supports ATM operations; performs ATM report generation processing, monitoring of ATM machine transactions, back-up of files to system disk as well as on external storage such as magnetic reel tapes and prints report files.
