Job Responsibilities
* Supports the Singapore Controller for Finance projects as assigned by close partnership with the respective Finance Functional Managers/Team Leads
* To determine & setup process for regular Cashflow projections to management. Flux analysis if Actual differs from Projections, understand causes & fine-tune basis/process for continuous enhancements.
* Provide management with analysis of financial and operational results, eg. BEU (breakeven utilization), Balanced Scorecard, Productivity measurement using manning ratios etc…
* Engage cost drivers & work on cost reduction activities to achieve cost target and validate cost savings for avoidance & true savings.
* Represent Finance to participate in strategic projects
* Participate in integration activities between Regions (US/Germany/Singapore)
* Work closely with Industrial Engineering, Procurement, Operations Finance on capital expenditure planning
* Develop capability to have capex plan by currency requirements
* Actively participate in ERP implementation.
* Understand current business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency & effectiveness via system enhancements
Job Requirements
* Degree in Accountancy or Equivalent Professional Qualifications.
* 7 years of relevant working experience with at least 2 years of which should be in a managerial capacity. Experience in big four audit firms preferred.
* Hands-on and possess good knowledge of accounting guidelines and financial controlling.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management and cross functions.
* Strong analytical mind and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
