Responsibilities:
• Responsible for project management, testing, performance management, change management, supplier performance management, order process and asset management
• Partner with matrix organisations to support the evaluation, sourcing and deployment new technologies and services that provide a competitive advantage to the corporation
• Own end to end service delivery for video, voice and data solutions
• Drive customer satisfaction improvement by developing a world-class service and support model
• Provides information to the business on cost, schedule and quality, including communication to other IT function teams and business customers
• Design and resolve complex customer problems in a variety of support methods
• Establish and owns the performance management and metrics to continuously improve service and delight the customer
• Coordinate transactional data exchange between service providers and internal process partners
• Provide technical support for network and security problems and issues including Internet related infrastructure
• Provide timely service metrics for key performance indicator for voice and data infrastructure
• Management of monitoring tools to deliver service metrics
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Information Systems or related field
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years IT network infrastructure delivery experience
• Working knowledge/experience of global network & security architectures
• Working knowledge of network & security protocols, routing, monitoring and operations
• Knowledge of 3COM, CISCO, Avaya, Nortel network and voice equipment is preferred
• Working knowledge of two or more firewall equipment, Checkpoint, Juniper NetScreen, CyberGuard, Cisco Pic
• Knowledge in intrusion detection/prevention, internet proxy, SPAM or http filtering equipment/tools
• Ability to coordinate and oversee group projects; ability to delegate, monitor progress and provide feedback as appropriate
• Experience in collaborating with multiple suppliers in a regional environment
• Strong bias for action and results orientation
• Good communication skills, tactful in dealing with team members
• Expert ability to communicate effectively and sincerely in customer interactions
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to interact well at all levels of the organisation
• Vendor management knowledge and experience
