You are to establish the business direction, plan, lead and manage the business activities through building and maintenance of appropriate relationships with a range of networks in specific distribution channels in order to build and maintain a leadership position of the bank.

You are to create shareholders’ value and be responsible to chart the direction of the bank for long-term sustainability and growth. You will provide strategic leadership in the areas of Product development and innovation focusing on Islamic capital market products, equity joint venture financing, Islamic leasing (Al-Ijarah) for home purchases, wealth management and investment banking services for domestic market as well as foreign funds.

Distribution Channels (direction relationship with key customers and partners and leverage on the Bank’s extended customer base, both local and foreign)

Support Services and Infrastructure with the intent to expend the Islamic Banking business to Singapore, and other key markets in the Asia pacific Region like China, Indonesia and Middle East. In the long-term strategic intent, the jobholder will need to seek strategic alliance partners for the Islamic banking venture, penetrate into all market segments and franchise building.

Requirements:
At least 10 years experience in a management capacity within the Islamic banking space. Candidates should have a good track record of building up the Islamic bank. MBA holders are highly regarded.
