A Contract of Work company developing a gold mine in South Sulawesi Indonesia is looking for a qualified individual for the position of:
Senior Mining Engineer
(Sulawesi Selatan)
Responsibilities:
For technical advice, planning and methodology in the mine including:
* Production reporting
* Examining mining methods and equipment to improve performance
* Preparing drilling and blasting plans
* Monitoring and controlling the daily activities of the mining contractor and/or mining employees
* Direction of mining engineers in their day to day activities
Requirements:
Responsible for short, medium and long term mine planning and design using mining soft-wares (preferably Gemcom and Whittle).
* Candidate must hold a tertiary degree in mining engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience.
* Required language(s): English both oral and written
* At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably Senior Staffs specializing in Engineering - Others or equivalent.
* Full-Time positions available.
* Has knowledge in ore resource calculations and ore body modeling.
* Hands on experience in open pit mining.
Expatriates and Indonesian nationals are encouraged to apply. Position is based at site in South Sulawesi with a 5 week on 2 week off schedule.
