Rig Superintendent at Seadrill

Reporting to the Rig Manager, the OIM / Rig Superintendent is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the jack up drilling rig.

Area(s) of Responsibility:
(a) Overall responsibility for the installation and safety and welfare of personnel onboard.
(b) Supervision and performance of personnel working on the installation.
(c) Physical condition of areas and equipment, planned inspections and maintenance in accordance with Seadrill and legislative requirements.

Supervises:
Seadrill offshore personnel and sub-contractor’s personnel.

Certificates Required:
OIM Emergency Command and Control
HUET/ Sea Survival
Comp. Fire-fighting/ SCBA
Well Control (IWCF Supervisor)
AB-LB Document/ Coxswain/ Proficiency in Survival Craft
Marine STCW 95 including:
Personal Survival Technique
Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
Elementary First Aid
Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities

Applicants should posses a minimum of three years experience in this position
