Electrician at Seadrill

We have vacancies for Electrician in connection with our new build projects upmanning.

The Electrician is responsible for the maintenance of all electrical equipment within Seadrill scope / area of responsibility in accordance with the Seadrill core values (SAILP).

Key Tasks
(a) To ensure that all maintenance work is performed safely, and in accordance with statutory and company regulations in accordance with good engineering practice
(b) To liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding maintenance/repairs and planning ahead so as to avoid the risk of delay through equipment breakdown.
(c) Use preventative maintenance programme in accordance with Client/Company requirements and as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
(d) Maintain preventative maintenance programme in accordance with Company repair and preventative maintenance procedures as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
(e) Ensure there is always an adequate stock of parts, tools and consumables required to maintain the equipment for which they are responsible.
(f) Carry out and record isolations of electrically driven equipment to be worked on by himself and others under his supervision in accordance with the requirements of the Permit to Work System.
(g) Supply information required for updating of any drawings, sketches or information on existing and replacement equipment.
(h) Report any misuse of equipment to the Senior Company Representative / Maintenance Supervisor.
(i) Safeguard the rig tools and instruments in their care.
(j) Supply information for the completion of the company's reporting system data sheets e.g. Daily Operations Report/Weekly Goals/Weekly Safety/Repair/Replacement job cards.
(k) Compiling a concise hand-over log for his relief at crew change, and forwarding a copy to the Maintenance Supervisor.
(l) Offer technical assistance and electrical back-up as may be required for the safe operation of any equipment on the installation.
(m) Carry out tasks as part of a multi-discipline maintenance team as operational requirements dictate.

Criteria
Basic offshore safety training
City and Guilds or equivalent
Relevant experience from drilling
Relevant experience in Position/Trade of Specialisation
University or College Degree
