Position Summary:
The Director of Marketing and Public Relations is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic marketing and public relations plans to support our sales force and build our brand. Your experience should reflect a track record of success and a consistent record of increasing responsibility.

Strong leadership, organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills are necessary. Candidate must possess effective and refined written and oral communication skills both in English and Japanese. Requires ability to write reports and to effectively present information to sales people, managers, clients and customers.

Essential Job Duties:
* Manage and design packaging, catalogs, marketing literature, advertisement, trade show booths, and all additional support and promotional materials for new and existing products
* Gather, analyze and evaluate market research data and make actionable recommendations to support successful product sales
* Develop a branding strategy that strengthens current and new product mix and market exposure
* Develop an online and offline direct mail strategy

* Oversee all aspects of print buying including cost analysis, vendor selection, purchase order submissions, and invoice approvals

* Handle coordination and implementation of all trade shows

* Develop and coordinate advertising and public relations campaigns including monitoring editorial schedules for strategic ad placement, the development and distribution of press releases, evaluating sponsorship opportunities, and managing budgets and timelines. Insure that press releases get placed in the various publications

* Develop and manage website design, updates and dynamic online promotions

* Develop and manage search engine optimization and search engine marketing program as well as an online advertising program

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree
* Must be fluent in English and Japanese
* 5-10 years of demonstrated experience in Marketing
