Our client, operating the energy sector seeks to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
Specific responsibilities will include:
* Leading the electrical maintenance team for a 90MW power plant
* Performing “hands on” operation and maintenance duties for all electrical power plant equipment and systems
* Maintaining and operating a substation high voltage electrical equipment and systems
* Planning and organizing maintenance tasks with minimum down time
* Reviewing plant electrical related operational and equipment problems that result in poor performance so as to reduce losses of efficiency or capacity
We are looking for high self motivated, energetic and enthusiastic individual who must have the following:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering and 8 + years supervisory experience working in an operating power plant
* Practical experience in designing, operating, maintaining and inspecting generators, motors and batteries.
* Hands-on experience in relays, circuit breakers, switch gears, transformers, field instrumentations and PLC base process control systems
* Solid understanding of equipment testing, evaluation, calibration techniques ,etc
* IT literacy and reporting skills
