Senna to replace Fisichella at Force India?

Vijay Mallya has hinted that Bruno Senna could be of interest to his Force India team as Giancarlo Fisichella heads towards the end of his Formula One career. Senna was denied an F1 race seat for 2009 when the Brawn team elected to retain its line-up of Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, although the Indian billionaire has a high opinion of the Brazilian Senna.

"I know that Giancarlo is reaching the end of his racing career - it may not be his last year this year but he is certainly at the tail end of his career. " the Kingfish supremo told The Observer. "There are youngsters waiting in the wings; one of them is Bruno Senna, and we all thought he would be signed by Brawn GP but they went with Barrichello - we will look at the youngsters at the appropriate time."

Senna - nephew of three-time World Champion Ayrton - was disappointed at the lengthy wait for Brawn's eventual decision, but has since tested for Mercedes in DTM will be taking part in his first Le Mans Series race in Barcelona this weekend.
