Manager, HR Contract Administration & Planning (Papua)

The incumbent selected for this role will manage, develop and monitor the areas of: Expat Administration, site medical operations, compensation facilitation within corporate processes, as well as generate monthly reports to the Senior Management team. In addition, this individual will be responsible to ensure that policies and practices are in line with the company’s vision and strategies; while complying with all legal, regulatory and ethical guidelines for sound business practices. The focus will be to achieve company long-terms goals of continuous improvement for its people, systems and overall business results.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and direct projects across all aspects of the operation; establish vision, guidelines and standards; monitor progress to ensure that long-terms goals of the operation are achieved.
• Develop and manage company policies and guidelines for organizational and manpower issues and activities; making PTFI a more effective and high performing organization.
• Improve overall business practices via the development and implementation of innovative programs; which are designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of PTFI employees and systems; resulting in the improvement of profitability and shareholder value.
• As a member of the Manpower Planning & Review Board, will make decisions about all manpower related issues; ensuring that those decision are in line with the company vision, strategy, as well as in compliance with government rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with the U.S. offices on Expat issues; providing strategic and updated information regarding manpower issues, so to develop a basis for the decision making process.
• Closely assist the VP, Corporate Planning & Cost Study with projects across all areas of operation.
• Direct, develop and manage budgets; ensuring all spending achieves maximum value results.
• Manage and monitor all employee developments, quality management and business improvement activities; so to achieve the company short term and long terms goals.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Design/ Development, Psychology.
• Fifteen (15+) plus years of practical work experience in consulting, business management, HRD, change management and business processes.
• Ten (10) years in actual management level role.
• Solid leadership and business judgment.
• Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
• Professional manpower development and organizational abilities.
