Supply Chain Analyst

This position is an integral member of the Supply Chain Services team, contributing to sustainability and expansion while assisting with strategies for distribution and inventory management processes.

The qualified candidate will possess the demonstrated ability to interact with a variety of personnel at multiple levels. This position requires a strong understanding of procurement order-to-cash cycle and inventory replenishment. Additionally, proven skills in the areas of report writing, statistical analysis, and relational databases are necessary to monitor supply chain performance via EDI transaction sets. This individual must be successful at providing specific guidance on multiple projects and associated resources simultaneously.

* Manage 3rd party inventory and determine necessary actions based upon targeted DIOH, previous demand history, etc.;
* Lead specific functions, such as process mapping, during the planning and implementation of new system processes to streamline supply chain operations;
* Manage multiple activities across the organization, utilizing project management methodologies to achieve deliverables;
* Work with Value Added Networks monitoring EDI transactions for exceptions and lead procurement improvements to process;
* Facilitate on-site meetings and kaizen events that encompass cross-functional involvement to ensure a complete and universal solution capable for bench-marking;
* Coordinate with sales force and customer on new product setup requirements for 3rd party distribution;
* Ensure necessary requirements and transactions associated with RGA's from 3rd party distribution partners;
* Manage key SCM characteristics to profile customers that allow quick access to necessary information required for bench-marking, best practice references, and reporting for analysis;
* Utilize business objectives to data mine, compile and develop analysis reports, such as trending;
* Additional activities, projects, or assignments as outlined.

Requirements

* Bachelor Degree in related field and 7 + years experience
* Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or APICS related experience (preferred)
* 3+ years of managing EDI transactions 810, 850, 852, 855, 856, 867 (GHX experience preferred);
* 5+ years working within Procurement environment with detailed understanding of Inventory Replenishment practices;
* Statistical Analysis and 3rd Party Report Writing skills, such as Business Objects or Crystal Reports;
* Detailed working knowledge of Healthcare ERP/MMIS (Lawson preferred);
* Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Access & Visio (Intermediary Skill Level Preferred)
*Ability to travel up to 30%
