You will be part responsible in the maintenance of the Data and wireless communication systems for NSEW Line and lead a team of Line Managers, Assistant Engineers and Technicians in the preventive and corrective maintenance of communications system to achieve high reliability and availability of the system in accordance with the standard set by the Authority.
Your role will also entails in the planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance, reviewing and certifying of work instructions, collection and analysis of fault statistics and ensuring all safety plans are implemented. You would need to manage individual staff performance by constantly track, review, and discuss staff achievements. In addition, you will be involved in the audit of works to ensure all works are carried out in accordance to ISO quality standards and managing the purchase of spares, equipment and tools.
Requirements
You should possess a Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communications / Telecommunications Engineering, and preferably have at least 6 years of postgraduate working experience in supervisory position in telecommunication environment with proven experience in maintaining digital truck radio, SDH , PABX systems and public address system. With railway experience will have an added advantage.
Candidate should also possess strong analytical, problem-solving skills, communication skills and exhibit strong leadership capability.
